Realistically speaking, what quality of real estate investment deals (particularly multi-family deals) should you expect to find online?

I've only been on here for a few months, but I've dived really hard into educating myself on SFH REI and am getting just as deep into Multi-Family/Commercial currently.

Hi, Im looking to meet up with a BP member from the area for lunch to discuss the demographics of the area, I’m traveling to the Raleigh/Durham/Burlington/Greensboro area from November 4th through the 7th. for the purpose of research in the area for a place to possibly retire in the next few 3-5 years, I'm now investing in single family homes in the upstate NY area and plan on starting to investing in NC in multi-family/Apartment real estate.

My next step is flipping and investing in multi million dollar properties.

I want to reduce liability and also be able to track each with their own accounting statements each quarter.

Find somebody with some kind of proven track record at flipping and just 'go in with them' on a deal. 

In this market, you're not going to find a multi-family property for a good price that doesn't come with a headache or two. 

Is multi family real estate investment in Birmigham area is good investement?
