This will destroy demand - consumers like us won't demand to buy stuff, won't travel much, reducing the demand for oil and will easy the pressure on the supply chain.

I'm not saying your duplex is badly priced, but you've been competing with a lot more properties near the front of the Mount.

If it sells, cool, if nto, whatever -- it's a rental property.Since I had no time pressure to sell, the properties I did sell were at enough to make it worth giving them (and the rental income) up.I moved into doing the same thing with apartments.  

I can build or not build, no pressure either way. 

Mount Vernon is nice but the taxes are high.

However, it appears that the market pressure may cause the home value to continue to increase quickly over the next year.

Now, he is asking for rent abatement (luckily his contractor was there when the flood was discovered and helped moved his items to reduce the damages), in additional to the low water pressure discovered recently.
