5% is 5% but it is still relatively cheap money in the grand scheme of things.  

Stamford express train is 52 minutes by itself to Grand Central...so factor in time to the station and time from GCS to where ever you need to go would probably be 1 hour 20 minutes.  

There is also a large group in Ann Arbor and one in the Grand Rapids area.

@Ben Leybovich  seems like a few grand would be appropriate if your going to take phone calls at all.

Kalamazoo, East Lansing (Lansing), Ann Arbor (better to get Ypsilanti bordering Ann Arbor) and definitely Grand Rapids.

Someone who is a millionaire and wants capital preservation may want a 4-5% return to safeguard against losses, so that is an acceptable return for him and one he may consider "good" for that purpose, when he knows a 4-5% return is horrible in the grand scheme of things. 

Other good towns are Haslett, DeWitt, and Grand Ledge, but not as much multi stock.

They haven’t owned the place long so it’s only paid down a few grand; still cheaper for us than a new loan.

This allows for a "great grand master key" system.
