The tenured brokers in the business do not want to damage their reputation by misrepresenting to another firm on what the commission split would be or what the seller would do.If it is a wholesaler or a fee taker middleman type thing and they have little to no experience that can be a recipe for disaster.

Make sure you know how to properly evaluate the properties so when eventually presented to an investor they are actually a deal.Most wholesalers just send junk to investors and have no clue what a deal is.

I’d recommend joining some of the local real estate meet ups, getting on wholesaler lists and making sure you are ready to pull the trigger when you find a good deal.
