I also think about my exit strategy and will I encounter similar issues when I'd want to sell (having difficulties selling because of property issues).

The only problem I've encountered is that lenders are not familiar with the the figure that Form 2555 generates and drops into your 1040 because its listed as a credit - currently $103,900. 

My other recommedations would be to purchase the bigger pockets lease package for your area.

@Anatole Doak I am having the same problem except the minimum loan amount I have encountered is $100K  Would you mind sharing the brokers with $60K cut off, that is right where I need to be. 

My immigration lawyer said she hasn't encountered this issue before but doesn't see a problem.Has anyone been through this as an investor/lender/buyer/seller/lawyer??

Make sure the package is complete with CMA and photos ready to load up from the cloud and dare them to say NO.

While the bank has no issue loaning me more money than I could ever afford, there seems to be a lot of red tape around selling our current home, the builder plans being approved, 20% money down, and other bank requirements I probably have not encountered yet.
