More than half the insurance policy (your agent can give you a breakdown on that one since your policy needs to cover you and your belongings as a homeowner as well as the property next to you as a landlord).

My original policy was issued by Allstate and following some less than stellar service I'm looking for a change, immediately.Currently 3 units with a vacant warehouse that will be built out into 5-6 additional units in the next 12-18 months.Having said that, I'm not certain what the best course of action is.

. $600K judgement and my umbrella policy declining the claim due to some nonsense technicality. that's a game over for many of us. and it does not matter if u have ur properties in LLC or not. if u do all the work urself or you are the one who hires out ...LLC will not help. everybody gets named in the lawsuit. if u lose ..you, all ur LLCs and all other assets u have interest in are at stake.It is funny when I read about “my attorney advised this”, “ my accountant suggested this” …many of you fail to realize …this is not YOUR attorney or YOUR accountant.

No issues.You just make sure mom has enough money, and make sure boyfriend or girlfriend aren't criminals.Then be sure to remind mom of lease policy if the kids break up.Mom is still on the hook until you find a replacement.
