Well, since then our HOA has become very strict and we're no longer able to rent out the furnished guest bedroom--even though we live in this property/townhouse that just happen to have an Association.

@Dominic FlintWith a condo you need to check the financial condition of the condo association, as well as determine if a large number of units are owned by one person, because then they will control the association.

The annual fees to be an agent are ouragious, Including monthly fees to 1. belong to an  association (required in Md), 2.
