It is more a personal decision.In any case, I highly recommend having as much or more education required to pass the test to get a license.Part of your research and soul searching should include understanding the laws in your state.

Dion: Without rereading the thread, I remember the note having some loan terms that might not pass the sniff test.

Here in WI we have to take a good amount of class hours and then pass a fairly tough test as well as continuing ed every other year with more tests, but its not like you're going through school to be a CPA or med school to earn your MD!

If its leaking you're looking at much larger dollars, lots of testing and holding costs.
