We spent 1 year and about $50,000 (some money came from Grandma, some went on 0%apr credit cards) to transform our duplex into a 5 bedroom 2 bath, and a 3 bedroom 1 bath, getting more then $500 per bedroom.We were able to refinance and cash out.

We transformed a two bedroom one bathroom house into a three bedroom two bathroom house with an additional bathroom in the garage and staged the garage as living space.

I agree that many businesses will not survive or will be completely transformed.

I just thought it’d be a good idea to use someone who has already been vetted/used in previously successful endeavors, especially if recommended by someone on Bigger Pockets :)And yes, I actually did try that website out, as questionable as I had thought it was at first (glad someone else uses it).
