Depending on the opportunities, we'll probably start with flipping and do buy-and-hold at a later stage, both in the Netherlands.In my private time I enjoy playing field hockey, sailing/boating and doing all kinds of technology projects (Arduino, electronics, etc) I love technology, how it makes our lives easier and I love to combine this love with real estate.

I was thinking something similar recently Brendan... some public sector and even large private sector organizations are less and less a meritocracy...it can be hard to even know what the metrics are in some cases.

Lenders want skin in the game, and since your experience hasn't gotten there yet, it is more risk to the lender which in plain terms means a higher interest rate and more points.You need to find "private lenders", but again, they want you to show them examples of past deals before lending money.Wishing you the best!
