I was wondering if my parent could use a VA loan to purchase a home where I go to college for me to live in?

My parents recently decided that they would retire by cashing out on all of their properties in San Diego and purchase rentals in Nashville.

Due to a mix of scholarships and having parents that are good with saving money and willing to help out with my education, I'll graduate college without debt.

Here's my reasoning for reconsidering it on this flip deal:-I am essentially buying it direct from the seller who's parents owned it for 25 years plus.

The cost to repair all of that constantly ate up any scant profit my parents ever could have hoped for.

If there are no children or grandchildren, then the parents inherit, and if their parents have passed away, then it goes to their siblings, and then the siblings' children it their siblings have passed. 

My wife's parent just bought a house in Millsboro, so it will keep my step-son closer to his grandparents and he might be part fish. 

His parents stepped in but were unable to transfer anything into their name.
