Through internet searches I also came to realize there are no REIA meetings either. 

I found BiggerPockets mearly by searching the internet.

I have heard a lot of great things about Bigger Pockets Network from the internet and is very excited to join the community.  

I have joined a couple but they seem to only meetup on the internet.  

I bypassed that offer and then after the 15 minutes I was taken to a page that said an email would be forthcoming with how to set up the appointment.
