The location is perfect being in a seasonal town but just outside the incorporated town limits.

With values rising double digit percentages each year for a lot of reasons, even as value growth slows, rents will eventually catch up.

I do have a local broker looking around the area for me, and I'm keeping an eye out.

@Linda Tadych from a market perspective the uncertainty is the worst part of all of this, all we can do is maintain our agility, keep an eye on the market and wait for this thing to run its course.

Ride the stock up 3-5x in the next 6-12 months, then pull it out and catch the REI again.

I still plan on starting my real estate investments with non-favela properties, but I'll keep my eyes open to possibilities in this spectrum....

End of the day, theoretically it's easier to rasie $2M in $500k chunks, but if you only know people that can invest with $50k chunks, may be easier to catch 20 trout than 4 whales.
