Being I have been in the game for sixteen (16) years I understand it a bit better than most.

. :)  Part of this game is reading the thread.  

Maybe I will have to take more risk to get in the game.

We then decided we needed to get into the RE game because we didn't want to continue paying a mortgage for the rest of our lives.

I feel like all three platforms bring something good to the table and all three have drawbacks.

My lease allows me to charge them for it, but man, I guess people who have no skin in the game are just careless.

Its all on what you want, but there are classes out there if you are tired of the guessing game.

While I don't quite have the down payment amount saved up right now, I'm hoping to team up with my family (1 aunt and 1 uncle, they both own rentals) in some kind of joint venture deal where they bring a larger percentage of the down payment funds to the table as silent partners and I manage the logistics of the deal.

I'm new to the real estate game and in looking to learn.  

I'm looking to network and hopefully find people that I could bring something to the table in exchange for being able to learn about various aspects of the business.Thanks,Brandon
