I have a fairly decent construction back ground but am currently 16 yrs active duty Army so I have to finish up there before I get 100% into the RE game.

@Osvaldo Granillo  I've fired a contractor in the middle of a project for pretty much exactly that reason (kept dragging his feet and I became concerned if/when he'd ever finish the project, plus I had some concerns about the quality of some of the work).  

I’ve been licensed in real estate in NY in the past, and have been in construction for almost a decade (finish/rough carpentry/painting).

The finish looks like glass and feels like butter (that finish will last).
