Most Major cities will still fill office space in the future as more people get back to work as you realize while some people may be more productive remotely working in groups and mentoring people has a lot more progress in personIf you bought office in 2018-2020 then I really feel bad for you though as there is a pricing reset for those building owners

@Braeden Warg Distance targets different types of people.

People wanting 3 bedrooms usually have kids and I don't think that you're going too find many families that will want to live with another unknown family.The bathroom situation is going to be a problem.

Some people do change.

It seems  that there are still people looking for both STR and annual in SW Florida.  

Areas I think would do well are those where people are moving back to or highly desired - Arcadia, Scottsdale, Tempe, Gilbert, parts of PHX, and Chandler / Mesa. 

I was not willing to have multiple people sleeping in 3rd floor bedrooms without fire escapes and risk the hazard of them getting trapped inside.

There are several other groups around which are a goldmine for connecting with experienced investors and newbies (future ballers) alike.

Is it a good idea to visit these locations and make connections/check out the real estate?

I'd recommend first reaching out to a Realtor in the area that can advise on the value of different projects, and they can also help you connect with a lender who can give you HELOC and other potential options!
