That lowball offer was from, I'm guessing, a wholesaler, and the agent wanted to assure me that it was a "scam."

It is going to be inefficient to pay someone the same $x/ hr for tasks that anyone can do but are just tedious vs. tasks that require skill and are not as common. 

Hi Travis,Based on my experience with clients holdings of this size (2-4 units) I would say I commonly see a range between $750-$1,500 for an appraisal.

All this assumes the windows are not a common element and are your responsibility( and they probably are).

I'd call it a lead fee since those are so common.

I received a $69.93 check a few weeks ago (fyi I invested 5k into Nuurez back in January 2021) in the mail, which was interesting considering in October we received an email asking for our bank information so they could deposit the dividends into our account directly … I don’t want to believe this investment is a total scam just yet, I think it’s going to require patience, however their communication is absolutely bogus and unfortunate.

It seems when we add the words "Real Estate" too "Investment" some paradox opens and brains are instantly scrambled as for some reason, all the obvious common sense of real estate, or investing, it's thought it all changes if two are together..... 

And while I wouldn't say it is common it isn't unheard of.
