I think the purchased and rented houses will be combined in blocks and then the package of houses will be marketed and sold as an investment vehicle backed by the cash flow of the underlying houses.

I am remodeling my house and have a PVC pipe that runs outside the house a couple inches above ground which drains the kitchen sink, it then runs through the garage and then right outside the garage the PVC pipe goes into the ground where it is connected to the main drain pipe from the house.

Most owners block off time for themselves which doesn't show up any differently than a booked stay.I've looked at some areas for a vacation rental and the lowest vacancy assumption I was using was 25%.

Assessed value are usually done in one of two ways, from past sales that are recorded and the state/county/whatever imposes an inflation rate and/or the are done on a block survey method, using the sq. ft. and values of the area and making adjustments.For investment purposes, when buying you can argue the assessed value as a negotiation point making the seller come up with a defense to the asking price, but, assessed values do not reflect current market values which is what an investor needs to be looking at, the assessed value has no bearing on market values.
