I keep hearing the feds cannot raise interest rates for fear of busting the economy but as an architect I can see the current inflation needs to be curtailed.

Of course, they were all NOT in the benefit of the potential investor (wrong number of bedrooms/bathrooms, no comps available in that area but made up a property value that was inflated by $26K, and so on....).

It's impossible to predict the future but I would say its safe to say rates will remain elevated as inflation proves to be very persistent in getting to the feds goal of 2% range.
