They stress test a property more when rate is locked for just 5 years instead of 10.I like longer amortizations and more time with balloons unless it's a big value add property then I go for interest only loan for smallest payments until stabilizing with non pre-pay penalty for refi to new loan.The higher interest rate you can build it into your offer price to hit your numbers.
