While doing the siding and windows, check the insulation and weatherizing for the whole building "envelope".

I can't remember who here at BP was talking about getting properties via a back-up bid, but it worked out for me.I got a condo (built 2005) that needs very little (paint, laminate, carpet and replacement of a couple of fogged windows). 

These are the little things that help sell a house and really transform it.We are hoping that the rest of the 1st floor rehab along with the outside work (siding, wrapping of windows in aluminum) will be done before the end of the month**After the rehab is complete we will be listing this property for sale.

A quality property could mean... stucco, new windows and roof.  

And on a totally different note: I am also looking for a window for a basement bonus room that I want to make into a legal bedroom. 

.- no appliances- renter provided window ac units.You actually REDUCE turn over because the effort to move all that stuff that the renter now owns is high.

If it's too emotional to see the grass die, your window screens disappear and a bunch of crap be in the yard, then maybe reconsider, ya know?  

However, if one was to sell one's property to an FHA buyer, there's a 90-day window the property should have title transferred multiple times.

While the building is sound proof, you still get some train noise from the windows.
