The short answer is yes.

I am a real estate investor from South Africa and will shortly be relocating to San Diego.My primary interest is the BRRRR method with an emphasis on small multifamily properties (2-4 units).

In the meantime, my short term goal is to own 2 properties (multi family, that meet the ~2% rule - more specifics to come) by the end of 2019.

Hey BP family, I am writing a short post because I will be expanding to a new market soon and was wondering if anyone can point me to the right direction or if anyone knows of good markets to jump into to begin finding deals for flips.

I have wood floors on the first floor and on the 2nd floor (including stairs) is the short industrial type carpet. 

In the short-term I have a goal of closing a single good deal, whether that be a flip, in a partnership, on a single-family, or on a small multi-family. 

Being in NYC, we tried that for a short while, gave up both our cars, and I remember taking cabs to rentals when I had to lug things over to work on things.
