The LLC is an Ohio entity with an agent located in Ohio, and we also have local property management. 

This involves finding a reliable contractor, a property manager and a real estate agent who specializes in investment properties in the area.

They got it fixed after suing the developer and their lawyer said that now that it is fixed, they didn't need to disclose it when they sold...they did sell it AND disclosed it to the seller and provided them all of the paperwork and warranties.

I believe that partnering with more experienced investors or finding an agent that works with investors to help dial in your numbers would be a great way to learn to do this.

In this approach does it really matter if the Operating and Holding LLCs are completely separate given the protections a Series LLC provides?
