As for good resources, you can read about syndication and how it works on one of the articles I posted on my blog titled: What Is Syndication and How Does It Work.

I've read a few articles where they talk about figuring out the maximum offer amount (ARV * 75% - Repair Cost = Offer Amount) but they don't go into detail as to the relevance of 75%.

For general deciding of whether to LLC your properties or not, I wrote a full article on why I decided not to, but I can't find it.
