I do not worry and have yet to really be sued (but my current issue is with a 2-bit lawyer, the odds of being sued may be a little higher than the usual threats we receive).Good luck

I've been doing some research regarding lawyers in Kansas to have someone handle my LLCs formation and asset protections and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with anyone in the Wichita area that could handle LLC formation, Holding LLCs and land trusts?

Should we each have a separate lawyer or just one to review the terms?

LLCs are not an iron clad wall that no lawyer can get through. they are one layer in a liability protection strategy. having an attorney set it up, and provide guidance on how to property run it can help strengthen that layer. mine only charges $250 to set up an LLC.  

@Manuel Salce, I'm not a lawyer and I haven't asked my lawyer (I might now), but I only take Section 8 tenants and state it in my ad. 

My local lawyer advised me to not purchase this deal because it could make me Responsible for any Leins or judgements against the property plus I may never get a good deed.I walked on the deal.
