The government is only postponing the inevitable at the expense of the people who are currently paying their financial obligations.I do understand that unemployment is at the highest point ever and people do have health issues but those are not the people who are creating this problem and crashed this market.The people I hear complain the most are the ones that used the 80/20 mortgages, no doc loans with no money down and interest only mortgages.

I doubt anything substantive comes out of fighting even though it may make you feel better.I would try to line up a new lender and start over as much of a pain as it is.

It will be a pain to work and at the end she might just move or not sign at closing and leave you hanging with a buyer and a lot of time and effort gone to waste.

So this might be the case, with the seller having health issues.If Remax does not work, submit the offer to the Listing Agents Managing Broker and include an email or letter from the Listing Agent saying s/he refuses to submit the offer.
