Can be done but risky and lots of moving parts.Personally I just use business credit for the sign up travel bonuses. 

And if at the end of the year you want to give him “a bonus” so be it.

The author spoke about depreciation, bonus depreciation, along with a host of other tax subjects.

This way if we find out the roof is good or what have you it’s a bonus.

@Peter Eberhardt as you know, I just closed on a duplex property that has the potential for 6 additional ADUs utilizing the city's density bonus program. 

Definitely fees involved, but I was honestly surprised at how low they were...I appreciate your thoughts and in 5-15 years when we do our next round of refinances to go buy more, I'll strongly consider selling instead. 

Those are a huge bonus for sure!
