I later found out a family squabble led to the sale of the parent's house I was buying and a brother lived there with a gambling problem. 

However; it's very rare to get that if you don't have any kind of track record, as they are gambling that you're going to get a construciton loan and be able to build the project at the price you say you can, and finish it in the time frame.

There was some research on this think it was Zillow article and Facebook IPO.If I remember right a few neighborhoods saw a slight increase...I wouldn't buy a house looking to sell after IPOs...if you want to gamble buy stocks or go to the casino.

One could also take up such activities as gambling.

Right away, lady asks for keys to show her husband (actually her boyfriend) our 2-bedroom 1-bath rental house but when I returned for the weekend the whole family including 2-kids were moved in.  

See how that will go and if they do not take the lady out of there, pass on the deal.

I've bought a property thought I was safe said heck i'll go tomorrow... when I walked up to the tax deed counter the lady said the woman who was in front of you was actually the owner she just paid off the taxes.... what are the chances of that happening to you not high but still....Leave no room for errors.5) don't rely on google or zillow for images try to see the property yourself.

One lady called me and said that I had mailed a post card to one of her rental properties and the tenant got it even though that was not the property in foreclosure.

Or am I just sending some lady a check for 30 years?

I've watched this lady flip several homes and she has done a good job and flipped in less then 2 months on them.
