Use this time to research tenant screening and make sure you are protecting yourself and your investment next time by finding a stellar tenant. 

While generally, I don't require a good credit score in my many, modestly priced apartments, but if I were in NY with the current eviction rules, I would require a stellar score because people that have a high score, usually understand how expensive and damaging poor credit is and you can count on them to act to protect their credit score.

Drought conditions, particularly in the northern part of the state, have worsened over the past few months, due to high heat following a less than stellar rainy season.

And they are rented ALL THE TIME at really good rates with stellar reviews.  

On the other hand it would be good to know what to look for in a great property manager and how a stellar property manager uses systems and processes to implement best practices on the properties they manage. 

But if you do it above board it can be a stellar way to make money and make clients happy!
