If it's drywall/plaster construction and the wall cavity is open at the top (and accessible from the attic), you could fill the void with cellulose insulation (such as Green Fiber - available at any Lowe's or Home Depot) from above.Even if it's not accessible from the attic, you could easily cut a small opening near the top of the wall (maybe a few depending on the span and the stud spacing), fill it up with insulation, and then patch & paint the hole(s) you made. 

Mine includes roof 25 year life span, floors 10 year life span, appliances and hot water heater 12 year life span, hvac 20 year life span, bath and kitchen remodel 20 year life span.

Cost me $6 sf to replace. 10 year life span. 4000*$6=$24000/10/12 months in a year=$200 per month for one item.

If you live in it for less than 2 years in a 5 year span and sell your looking at capital gains taxes unless you do a 1031 exchange.... some people leverage this incentive so you need to determine where you fall...or are you keeping it for 30 years?

With this, consider the attention span of such a group, for someone who is not use to classroom studies, who may have been out of school for 10 or 15 years, may well have difficulty in comprehending the third and fourth hour of information having received two hours prior.

The city is planning a major redevelopment of a vast area spanning 33 acres.

Thank GOD she didn't break her hip because that would certainly reduce her life span to 3 years or less.
