Every partner deal I have done has come through real estate meetups because it is not often that you find like-minded people who understand RE, creativity, and investing without going to a function dedicated to gathering them together.

Now that Michigan has voted in favor of recreational use for pot, how do you see it affecting real estate in Detroit especially?

Recreational cannabis has been legalized in Michigan.

Both areas boast a very broad based economy, perfect weather, a variety of things to do from sports, recreation, amusements, theater, cultural events, etc.

With BSSM expansion, and the location being central to all the recreation, etc., in the north state, along with lack of locations for larger groups, I think it would be a good one. 

And heck, it could possibly be a great opportunity for me to finally get my own land for recreational purposes.
