My area is relatively low crime, but had one place that someone broke a window to get in.... probably a homeless guy looking for a place to sleep....got scared when neighbor turned light on.I put in a SimpliSafe unit... portable, easy to set up, multiple options- you can use a webcam and get alerts on your phone and future tenant can pay for full service if they want. 

I feel supported by the fellow RaiseMasters and have had a very positive experience thus far.

I was looking for some advice (viable target areas in Cleveland or Ohio in general, financing options and credible PM/realtor contacts) from the experts here though especially if you are in a similar boat as mine (reside in Canada/Ontario area and invest in US). 

They likely will be a bid on the 2 year balloon options, too, in 2025. 

There's nothing wrong with considering them along with other options, but I would be careful thinking they will get you more bang for your buck or a more honest operator.Remember: cheaper doesn't mean you'll make more money.Start by going to www.narpm.org to search their directory of managers.

If you care just about positive cash flow (and you don't care about population growth, macroeconomics, or appreciation), definitely go with Cleveland.
