Try and define and align your mission, vision and purpose.  

I'd wait to have a reason and focused vision.  

With all of the odds totally against me I still managed to be hopeful and create a vision for my self.

We also have a long-term vision of acquiring multi-family properties.

As a Houston native I haven't even considered it because of its reputation, but I tend to get tunnel vision.
