Curious where you got the water and heat numbers, they seem kinda low, unless thats per unit. if the siding is slate asbestos, going over it is generally not an option because when a nail is driven through, it will break and fall behind the vinyl, now do this all the way up and you have a big problem.

So due to this recent windstorm in our area, 2-3 shingles are missing from my roof.Similarly, this corner board has come loose from the siding and needs to be screwed/nailed back and caulked.Question is, we are expecting some rain later part of this week.
