Someone more informed on the area, who has been here for a longer time, and working with investors or is an investor, can give you better information.We are very new to the area and are just fast learners.

I'm looking for seasoned investors in or near the Newburgh NY area to mentor me and show me the ropes of REI.I'm available every other Saturday and Sunday.I'm a nurse by trade a fast learner,very proactive and have a new love for real estate.I work two jobs now but have flexibity in my schedule duri g the week days,and a I mentioned every other Saturday and every other Sunday.I'm for experience oppose to pay.

Looks like their last rental was their first...I am able to see through my cam that they were well dressed during the time I was at work...The couples don't have driver license but one has a learner permit that expired...their dad has a nice silver SUV that looks very new and clean... the second time they came to visit two person that didnt show up the first time came along with the person that previous showed up for the first showing...they didnt have any question to ask because my dad don't know much english and they just showed up to our house doorsteps and called the agent up to ask to go in and see the apartment...for the second time...they ask about when the lease start date will be and her husband just ask one question about whether the water is hot in this apartment...the potential tenant is 4 adults... 

From what I here on the Bigger Pockets podcast these forums are full of teachers and learners.

Furthermore, as a Masters student, I am a trained learner!

I am a very fast learner however, I learn the fastest by doing it. 

Tracy Royce - you are one of the fast learners on here who is looking to connect with everyone in their area.

The guys at specialty houses (plumbing supply or electrician supply) are more knowledgable but tend to be snobs when working with lowly DIY learners. 

I will need some teaching, but I am eager learner.
