Our rental properties are townhouses and condos and they are located in Charlotte, NC.

Especially for things like population growth/decline, economic trends etc.And what things do you recommend checking when trying to decide whether a location is a good place to invest.

But great location, has water, electric and water nearby, close to the highway.

What state is the property located in? 

I'm primarily Texas and Arizona with interest in Huntsville with it as a central hub location for that part of the country.

The property is located in a prime growing area in northern Alabama.

Certain locations will have better results than others.

Compare other rentals with a similar size, location and bedroom count to get an estimate of what the rent would be while you're living there.
