Greek Islands and especially Cyprus one will notice every building has a black water tank on top of the roof.. this gives all the hot water one would need.. that would be a nice step forward for desert areas of US.. not that expensive and totally basic.. just a black tank.. on the roof.. gravity floor water in black tank is very warm/hot.

Started with us buying a second home in Palm Desert and we ended up renting it out seasonally to help with the cost.

Palm Desert passed an ordinance and no longer issues business licenses to STR owners.

But the justification and traffic is there.I am not going to the Sahara desert trying to sell people a cup of sand.You go where the hungry people are to sell them fried chicken.So if you claim youtube is the best I am eager to learn and adapt to using YouTube IF you convince me why how by how much it indeed is better..How much do you spend vs how many leads you get vs how many contracts you close.GO...

Loving Apex (apart from the cold snap......certainly better than those got it further north but still a shock for someone who spent 3 years in the desert !)

If your dead set on buy-n-hold SFR, you can drive a couple of hours to the central valley or the high desert, but that would require you to frequent those places (but who want to do that... no offense to anyone living in those areas :o )Here is an LA times article about Airbnb (a vacation rental platform).
