My name is Graham Protexter, and I am currently studying at South Dakota State University in Brookings, South Dakota. 

To secure a place to live for their children studying when they study overseasPrime or luxury property to park their money in(and yes, ) Investment property, simply because the rental yields are a lot higher overseas than they are at home.  

I am studying Construction Science and Management and have accepted a job offer to work with Holder Construction.

So, after all that you've done, studied, listened to and read, seems you're still lost.

I realize that you study all you want but at some point have to take the test and most likely will never feel ready for the first one, so I decided to get my feet wet.

I'm going to sit down and read more into this, study local rental rate a little harder, but in the meanwhile...an opinions?

Tax situations can get extremely complicated and the only way you'll get quality advice is to post everything about your personal situation and have someone do a case study.  

I have $6000 in debt (damn dorms) which I have a budget to pay off by the end of May 2016, shockingly good credit, and I share an apartment with my partner, so I do pay bills and such.I've been studying REI for the past year or so, but haven't bought property yet. 

We're currently working with a contractor who is still working on the scope of work and we also have someone coming in to do a feasibility study for the 203k loan, so we were just going to use those write-ups to proceed.
