I agree Steve introduced me to the land investing niche (and have publicly written about that), but I don't think its accurate to say I was his student.  

I'm not sure how the law applies to single-family cabins, but I'm pretty sure the hot-tub isn't classified as public, so the law requiring sound-activation in the hot-tub doesn't apply.Any info would be appreciated.

@Sean Ploskina - I never talk bad about a person or company unless I feel there is a risk to the public and I know the facts personally.  

I get tons of such solicitation, frequently from public records and I can see there's no effort whatsoever to validate the data as being appropriate - - thus they all go directing into the circular file.Big turnoff to be marketing with inaccuracies and then begging to get the listing.

She is prepared to take it to auction but I get the chance to make an offer first. ...They can only do that AFTER exposing it to the public auction in most places, so ask first ...

The deals on shell cabins are great but my due diligence is showing there'd be a lot of costs associated with doing (either) solar/public electric; well/public water; septic; etc. 

I should I ask them for the homeowner name or do they care and its public informtaion.

I'd drop every single elected official and or public servant who I have spoken to thus far in the grease if they haven't really tried to help.

I went to the public meeting and it was very much about either joining the club or the sales pitch from a selected vendor.

In some states, LLC owners and addresses are public record.
