The bank will also look pretty carefully at the cash flow they expect the property to produce, even moreso than a bank lending just to you would.I would also be surprised if a bank did not require you to personally guarantee the loan.When we bought our first property, we purchased it in our name then transferred it to the LLC we had created.

With such a head wind coming from getting a commercial loan you may want to look at non-qualified mortgage products like debt-service-coverage-ratio loans or possibly a HELOC.

(I.e. don't try to use the hammer to drive screws and paint walls no matter how good you've gotten with it, it simply won't lead to a good end product.)ThanksAndrew
