My job is to get the phone ringing, i market, I send the letters, postcards, web marketing, and his job is to take all the calls, from the 1st convo to the closing table.

It sits within Gmail (which I find to be convenient than having two separate web pages open), it searches the internet for online profiles of people I connect with (which sometimes helps me better get to know the person I'm talking to), and I have found it to be more intuitive than the bit I played around with Salesforce, Zoho, and Hubspot CRM. 

I don't mind, it helps me learn the cities/areas too :) Just send me a message or find me on the web (I'm a real estate agent.)

I treat web designers like sub contractors.

In this case there was a "daisy chain" leading to the owner of record. a wholesaler needs to be a valuable resource not just someone with a nice looking web page and a list of cash buyers.

As a matter of fact, most all customers are either 1) working with an agent from past experience (or referral), or b) walk in the door, call or web contact (email) the brokerage.

I'm a web designer as well so I have ascript that incrementally and constantly backs up my docs to my own server off site (I am my own dropBox)

Modifying these web pages is easy for even me to accomplish.Hope this helps!
