We gutted the bathroom, update the house throughout and added new appliances.

In all of those cities, you can find single family houses between 400-500k with 4+ bedrooms and 2+ bathrooms. 

I want to get new flooring, update the kitchen and bathrooms, and possibly make some changes to the floorplan if feasible.I am new to posting so if this is the wrong place to post this please let me know

And if you're own strategy is to "just leave" if rent control passes, then perhaps would you like to sell to me at a nice discount? 

But will be updating the kitchen and bathroom of the unit we are living in next year as I ready it to rent out to someone else.

We will also have the ability to refinance down the line after fixing up the place and installing a new bathroom. 

We are currently renovating the vacant side of the duplex with new windows, new bathroom, new kitchen and basic cleanup.

Only complaint for price I can see is the 1 car garage and only 1 bathroom.

Each unit has two bedrooms, 1-1/2 bathrooms, and central cooling.
