My Chase Saphire Reserve card gives me 3 points for every dollar I spend on travel/dining, which equates to 3% back in value, plus all the ancillary things I get from the card like free airport lounge access, free rental car insurance, auto rental upgrades, TSA precheck.Most of my spending is on dining/bars, so I use that to get the better return.

You don’t need a real estate license to “learn how real estate work”.Having one will not hurt and will give you access to MLS but you don’t need one depending on your goals..

@Ron SharpThere should be lots of threads in the Canadian forums here on BP ... it seems like not a week passes without that very question.Depending upon where you are planning to invest, and what type of asset you are planning to acquire, you may have the option of using a U.S.A. subsidiary of one of the Canadian banks (TD, RBC, BMO) who will lend to you based upon your credit history and income here at home.
