I have filed an insurance claim and they are sending a mitigation company out who says they will assess and may (if needed) pull up the floor, cabinets, drywall, whatever needs to be done.

Many Insurance companies will insure rental units that are in an LLC.  

I have rentals and a property management company in Baton Rouge--it can be a great place to invest.

Mike I have not seen a title company "hold title" Since my Dad used to put hundreds of lots into a holding agreement with Fidelity title back in the 60s.. are you sure on that one ? 

I don't know the particular company you referenced, but all of the criteria sounds nearly identical to what a number of other companies are doing wherein they have you fill out an application and then use your information to apply to various credit card companies on your behalf.

I mean, you see that band of Trump yahoos driving and honking and ****, but you've also got Asheville being one of the first munis in the country to talk openly and try to do something about reparations to African Americans (and it seems pretty moderate overall, not like an economic cataclysm).
