Hopefully they'll teach you the ropes, let you do some bird dog work, and grow from there! 

I figure wholesaling (with as much guidance as I can possibly muster) or even bird-dogging would be a good way to start.

I know the average prices of the homes in my target areas and I also know my rehab costs v new build costs .. learning how to estimate repairs is a big part of real estate investing .. on buy and holds  and Flips .. along with wholesaling .. nobody really touched base on that yet either .. you certainly can start out being a bird dog or even a wholesaler .. all this info is right here on Bp's ..

He was somewhat curious, but I suggested that by the time such advertising gains traction, the early bird will already have caught the worm. eg.

You can do seller financing, lease option, subject to, hard money, wholesaling, bird dogging.... lots of options. 

A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush...
