So, if you are going to run the numbers for the options, please run ALL the numbers.Having said all that, you can make money on either option ... there are many ways to skin a cat and believe that active investing with home court advantage usually trumps all so advise investors to roll your sleeves up and use your brains, brawn, balls (if applicable), and pocket book to work with whatever your local market gives you ... and if your local market shifts, shift your strategy to match.

I don't think anything is fully recession proof, but I do think notes can be profitable in various market conditions, especially if an investor is willing to shift strategies.
