Hi @Joe Splitrock, nope the $3.5K does not include the digging, it is only for the City fees, so the contractor work fees are separate.

You could create a separate event called “other expense” that happens to match the savings contribution, but changes to one do not automatically make changes to the other.

I currently keep separate files for my investment properties, but there are ways to aggregate all this into one personal file and use class tracking for each of your properties.
