A great way to network and meet people in your local community is to attend in person meet ups.

As I left, there were still fifteen-twenty people left to pay.I am new to the auction setting, but there is no way this can be the normal procedure to pay at the end of an auction.

They were not to blame, other people coming from less than where I was got to where they were promised. 

Funny how some of the people with problems don't want to be transparent and open (sarcasm).

I am interested to here from short term lenders - bridge loans etc about what software or processes you currently use to manage your loan book. 

Probably like any market, look where the new construction is happening.Look at what people are buying and what they are willing to pay.See if you can do it better, faster, cheaper and still make money.Then calculate the max you can pay for lots.Then go find lots to build on.I'd probably draw a big circle around DFW and buy on that circle or just outside of it.
