Adam Mathews Average cost for REI CPA/Tax Accountant?
7 January 2024 | 12 replies
As someone else has mentioned, it is wierd to be quoted by the week.I think an easier comparison would be to get the cost per return. The issue that you have if you are looking for one firm to do both the return + bookkeeping, is that you likely want to find someone sooner rather than later, especially if you want the returns to be timely filed by March 15th or to be completed by April 10th giving fellow members to timely file their individual return. The reason is that the CPA will need time to gather all required documentation such as operating agreements, prior year tax returns, properly populate/review information such as member name, SSN, profit and loss ownership, etcThe books may have to be done from now to February 15th as many CPA's may be in the midst of tax season after that date.best of luck to you in your search.
