Keep making payments under an account holder who is deceased, doesn't seem to be a proper legal recourse?

My guess is that this could be what is holding up finding someone willing to spend time on the search.Wholesaling is also not really 100% legal.

We're 50 and want to be free of mortgage debt.

I wonder if there is a legal leg to stand on to force the HOA to proceed.The complex is made up of several different buildings, some with 3/2, some with 2/2 condos, and some with 2/2 townhouse, so the structural damage is unfortunately pertinent to our unit of 8 dwellings (4 front, 4 back).  

I have student loan debt in the 20k area, and drive paid off vehicles that require a lot of upkeep to keep running me 120-150 miles round trip to work.

If I recall correctly, it creates a liability for the owner by muddying the legal water if an eviction were to become necessary if they violate other terms of the lease.

@Sanjoy V.A deal that produces healthy returns with long term debt in this market shouldn't give you valuation trouble in the future.

For holding costs, you'll have to include debt service if you're not sure about the financing side.

Then today October 17 he contacts me and says I have to give him a 400.00 pet deposit or get out I feel as if my own landlord is robbing me can he do this legally!!! 

This is just debt financing and you're not getting any equity/upside on the project - and honestly not making much money if any....
